Removing the T4500/T4600 Fluorescent Lamp
To remove the T4500/T4600 fluorescent lamp, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-47:
1. Turn off the power to the computer; disconnect the AC adapter, power cord and all external
cables connected to it.
2. Remove the battery pack, optional memory card, optional PCMCIA card, top cover, display
assembly, display mask, FL inverter, and LCD module as described in Sections 4.2, 4.3, 4.4,
4.5, 4.9, 4.13, 4.20, and 4.21.
3. Peel off the tape from the lamp cover, then remove three M1.5x3 brass flat-head screws
securing the cover and slide the cover to the right to remove it.
4. Remove the fluorescent lamp.
