Installing the FL Inverter Cable, Display Cables & Display Sensor Switch
To install the computer's FL inverter cable, display cables and display sensor switch, follow the
steps below and refer to Figures 4-49 through 4-51.
1. To install the display sensor switch, secure the cable with the one M2x8 silver screw
(Figure 4-50).
2. To install the pink and black display cable, place the cable under the hump in the display
hinge and secure the hinge with two M2.5x6 screws (Figure 4-49).
CAUTION: Be careful to route the cables so they will not be pinched when you install the
display panel (Figure 4-51).
3. Secure the ground cable with one M2.5x4 brass screw (T4500/T4600) or one M2.5x6
screw (T4500C/T4600C) (Figure 4-49).
4. Install the LCD or TFT module, FL inverter, display mask, display assembly, top cover,
optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card and battery pack as described in Sections
4.20 and 4.21 (T4500/T4600); or 4.17 and 4.18 (T4600C); or 4.14 through 4.16
(T4500C); and 4.13, 4.9, 4.5, 4.4, 4.3, 4.2.
