Installing the System Board

To install the computer's system board, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-21.
1. Seat the system PCB in the computer's case.
2. Replace the hinge covers, two M2.5x6 silver screws from the bottom cover, and one
M2.5x6 silver screw securing the system PCB.
3. Install the Display assembly, HDD, status indicator panel, keyboard, top cover, optional
PCMCIA card, optional memory card and battery pack as described in Sections 4.9 through
4.2.
WARNING: System PCB units must not be disassembled. Protective seals have been
placed on the units to discourage users from taking them apart. If a seal is removed, the
word "VOID" appears on the system PCB under the seal, and the warranty is voided
(Figure 4-22).
