4.3 Optional Memory Card
Removing the Optional Memory Card
To remove an optional memory card from the T4500/T4600 Family computer, follow the steps
below and refer to Figures 4-2 and 4-3.
1. Turn off the power to the computer; disconnect the AC adapter, power cord and all external
cables connected to it.
2. Remove the battery pack as described in Section 4.2.
3. Open the cover to the expansion memory slot (Figure 4-2).
4. Grasp the plastic tab and pull it so the card comes partially out of the computer (Figure 4-
2).
5. Grasp the optional memory card and pull it completely out (Figure 4-3).
CAUTION: DO NOT touch the connecting edge of the memory card. Debris or oil in or on
