2. Remove the Diagnostics Disk from the FDD, then insert the cleaning disk and press
Enter.
3. When the cleaning start message appears, the FDD head cleaning has begun.
4. The display automatically returns to the DIAGNOSTIC MENU when the program is
completed.
3.18 Log Utilities
3.18.1
Function Description
This function logs error information generated while a test is in progress and stores the results in
RAM. This function can store data on a floppy disk or output the data to a printer. If the power
switch is turned off, the error information will be lost. The error information is displayed in the
following order:
1. Error count (CNT)
2. Test name (TS-NAME)
3. Subtest number (TS-NAME)
4. Pass count (PASS)
5. Error status (STS)
6. FDD/HDD or memory address (ADDR)
7. Write data (WD)
8. Read data (RD)
9. HDC status (HSTS)
10. Error status name ( ERROR STATUS NAME)

Operations
1. Selecting 5 and pressing Enter in the DIAGNOSTIC MENU logs error information into
RAM or onto a floppy disk. The error information is displayed in the following format:
