8. Gently unsnap the LCD panel at the corners from the FL unit and lift it off the panel
(Figure 4-37).
CAUTION: Be very careful when you unsnap the display panel. If you use too much force,
you might break the panel's tabs.

Installing the T4500C FL Unit
To install the T4500C's FL unit, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-34 through 4-37.
1. Place the FL unit on the LCD panel and press down at the corners to snap it into place
(Figure 4-37).
2. Put the FL unit with LCD panel in the back frame and press on the sides to secure the
snaps (Figure 4-36).
3. Secure the four M2x4 screws (Figure 4-35).
4. Place the assembly in the front frame and carefully bend the five latches back into place
(Figure 4-34).
5. Install the TFT color LCD module, FL inverter board, display mask, display assembly, top
cover, optional PCMCIA card, optional memory card and battery pack as described in
Sections 4.15, 4.14, 4.13, 4.9, 4.5, 4.4, 4.3, and 4.2.
