Installing the Monochrome LCD FL Inverter Board
To install the T4500/T4600 FL inverter board, follow the steps below and refer to Figures 4-42 and
4-43.
1. Connect the FL inverter cable and FL cable to CN1 and CN2 on the FL inverter board
(Figure 4-42).
2. Seat the FL inverter board and route the cables so they will not be pinched by the display
cover or any other component (Figure 4-43).
3. Make sure the FL cable is secured with tape as indicated in Figure 4-43.

4. Insert the grounding tabs in the M2.5x4 screws, then secure the FL inverter board to the
display cover (Figure 4-43).
5. Install the display mask, display assembly, top cover, optional PCMCIA card, optional
memory card and battery pack as described in Sections 4.13, 4.9, 4.5, 4.4, 4.3 and 4.2.
