Display Test
To execute the Display Test, select 4 from the DIAGNOSTIC TEST MENU, press Enter and
follow the directions displayed on the screen. The Display test contains twelve subtests that test
the computer's display in various modes. Move the highlight bar to the subtest you want to ex-
ecute and press Enter.
Subtest 01
VRAM Read/Write
This subtest writes constant data FFFFh, AAAAh, 5555h, 0000h and address data to
video RAM (256KB). This data is then read from the video RAM and compared to
the original data.
Subtest 02
Character Attributes (mode 1, 13h)
This subtest displays the following character attribute modes; normal, intensified,
reverse, and blinking as shown in the display below. The character attribute modes
display the foreground color and intensified color (16 colors or 16-level gray scale)
using black, blue, red, magenta, green, cyan, yellow, and white from the color
display. The display below appears on the screen when this subtest is executed.
