2.8 Using Bluetooth Headsets and
Car Kit Phones
You can place and/or receive calls using a hands-free Bluetooth headset or
hands-free car kit.
1. On your T-Mobile G, make sure that Bluetooth is turned on and set to visible
mode. For information about turning on Bluetooth and enabling visible mode,
see "Bluetooth" in Chapter 7.
2. Connect the Bluetooth headset or the car kit phone to your T-Mobile G via
Bluetooth. To learn how to connect, consult your Bluetooth headset or car kit
phone's manual.
3. If this is the first time you are pairing the Bluetooth headset or car kit phone
with your T-Mobile G, enter the Bluetooth headset or car kit's passcode on
your T-Mobile G.
You are ready to use your headset or car kit to place and/or receive calls.

2.9 Turn the Phone Function On and Off

In many countries, you are required by law to turn off the phone while on board
an aircraft. A way to turn off the phone function is to switch your T-Mobile G to
Airplane Mode. When you enable Airplane Mode, all wireless radios on your
T-Mobile G are turned off, including the phone function, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi.
To enable or disable Airplane Mode
1. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings > Wireless controls.
2. Select the Airplane mode check box to enable or disable Airplane Mode.
