6.4 External Email Accounts

The email wizard in your phone lets you send and receive messages from up
to five external POP3 or IMAP email accounts from popular Web-based email
providers such as Yahoo!

Add an external email account

1. Press HOME, tap the Applications tab, then select Email. The Email setup
screen appears.
2. Tap Next.
3. Open the keyboard to enter your email address and password.
Notes  If you want to use this email account for all your outgoing emails,
select the Send email from this account by default option.
To manually enter the email account settings, such as the email

server, protocol and more, tap Manual setup.
4. Tap Next. The wizard automatically sets up your external email account.
5. After your account settings have been verified, tap Finish to display your email
Inbox.
Note To add more email accounts, return to the Email setup screen, press
MENU and tap Add account.
6. While on the account Inbox, press
® Mail Plus, AOL, and more.
, then tap Refresh to update your Inbox.
