Hard reset

You can also perform a hard reset (also known as a full reset). A hard reset should
only be performed if a normal reset does not solve a system problem. After a hard
reset, the T-Mobile G is restored to its default settings—the way it was when
you first purchased it and turned it on. Any applications you installed, data you
entered, and settings you customised on your T-Mobile G will be lost. Only the
operating system and other pre-installed applications will remain.
To perform a hard reset
1. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings.
2. Scroll down the screen, then tap SD card & phone storage.
3. Below the Internal phone storage section, tap Factory data reset.
4. When prompted, tap Reset phone. The phone resets and displays the Home
screen.

Your T-Mobile G will be set back to factory default settings.
!
Make sure that any additional installed programs and/or user
data have been backed up before you perform a hard reset.
