To check the wireless network status
You can check the current wireless connection status from any of the following
screens of your T-Mobile G:
Status bar

When your phone is connected to a wireless network, the Wi-Fi icon (
appears in the Status bar and tells you the signal strength (number of bands).
Wi-Fi networks

On the Wireless controls screen, tap Wi-Fi
settings, then tap the wireless network
where the phone is currently connected.
The wireless network name, status,
speed, signal strength, security, and IP
configuration are displayed.
Note If you want to remove the wireless
network settings on your phone, tap
Forget. You need to enter the settings
again when you connect to this
wireless network.
To connect to another wireless network
On the Wireless controls screen, tap Wi-Fi settings. The network names and
security settings of available wireless networks are displayed below the Wi-Fi
networks section. Tap another wireless network to connect.
Tip To manually scan for available wireless networks, on the Wi-Fi settings
screen, press MENU, then tap Scan.
