9.2 Using Pictures

Pictures lets you view pictures you have captured and/or stored on the phone's
memory card. It also allows you to edit your pictures, create slideshows, add
pictures to your contacts, and more.
To copy pictures onto a memory card
1. Set the phone's memory card as a USB drive. See "Using your Phone as a
USB Drive" in Chapter  for details.
2. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB sync cable.
3. On your computer, navigate to the USB drive and open it.
4. Create a top-level folder on the memory card. Name the folder "Pictures" or
some other descriptive name, then open it.
5. Copy your pictures into this folder.
Tip
6. When finished, close the USB drive window and unmount or eject the drive as
required by your computer's operating system.
7. Disconnect the USB sync cable from your phone and computer.
Open Pictures
Do any of the following:
Press HOME, tap the Applications tab, then tap Pictures.
While on the Camera screen, press

You can also create and use folders as picture albums to organise your
pictures inside the Pictures folder you have created.
When you open Pictures from Camera, all pictures are displayed
individually without any album groupings.
