Adjust text and picture message settings
To adjust the text or picture message settings, in the message list, press
tap Settings. You can set the following options:
SMS settings
Delivery reports
Manage SIM card
messages
MMS settings
Delivery reports
Read reports
You can view the details of a particular message. In the message
thread, tap and hold the message to open the options menu, then
tap View message details.
If a message contains a delivery report (you would have enabled
Delivery report in the SMS/MMS settings) you can read it in the
message thread. Tap and hold the message in the thread with the
delivery report icon ( ), then tap View report on the options
menu. For more information on how to receive delivery reports,
see the next section.
Select this option to receive a report on the delivery status of your
text message.
Select this setting to view messages on your SIM card, delete
them, or copy them to your phone memory.
Select this option to receive a report on the delivery status of your
picture message.
Select this option if you want to receive a report whether each
recipient has read or deleted the message without reading it.
