.4 Phone Controls

Control buttons
Press the control buttons on your phone to do the following functions:
Button Functions
While on any application, press this button to return to the Home

HOME ( )
screen.
 Press and hold to bring up the recent applications window.
MENU Press to open a list of actions that you can do on the current screen or
dialogue box.
Press to go back to the previous screen, or to close a dialogue box

BACK ( )
or menu.
 Press and hold to go back to the main screen of the current
application.
Press this button to open the Call log tab that displays all recent

CALL ( )
calls.
When a contact, contact number, or phone number is highlighted on

the screen, press this button to call the contact or phone number.
 While on a call, press this button to add another call.
 If you navigated to another application during a call, press this button
to display the ongoing call on the screen.
END CALL/ While on a call, press this button to hang up.

POWER ( ) While not on a call, press and hold to open the phone options menu

that allows you to lock the screen, turn off, or put your phone in silent
mode.
CAPTURE Press this button to open Camera. See Chapter 9 for details.
