To see the available memory card space
1. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings.
2. Scroll down the screen, then tap SD card & phone storage.
The total and available memory card space display below the SD card section.
To free some phone memory
If your T-Mobile G is running low on memory, try the following:
Move files and email attachments to the memory card.
In Browser, clear all temporary Internet files and Browser history information.
See "Browser" in Chapter 7 for more information.
Uninstall downloaded programs you no longer use. See "Android Market" in
Chapter  for details.
Reset your T-Mobile G. See the next section for details.
0.4 Resetting Your T-Mobile G
Normal reset
Occasionally, you may need to reset your T-Mobile G. A normal reset (also
known as a soft reset) clears all active program memory and shuts down all active
programs. This can be useful when your T-Mobile G hangs or freezes, is running
slower than normal, or a program is not performing properly. If a normal reset is
performed when programs are running, unsaved work will be lost.
To perform a normal reset
1. Remove the back cover.
2. Remove the battery for a few seconds.
3. Re-install the battery, replace the back cover, then turn on the phone.
