4. Enter and confirm your Google Mail account password.

5. Select a security question from the drop down menu, then enter the answer to
the security question you have selected.
6. Tap Create.
7. When the Google Terms of Service screen appears, tap I agree, Next.
8. Enter the characters that appear on the screen, then tap Next.
9. When your Google Mail is succesfully created, close the keyboard, then tap
Finish setup. The Home screen displays.
Turn off the display when not in use
Press the END CALL/POWER button briefly to turn off the display temporarily.
Turning off the display suspends your T-Mobile G to a low power state in order
to save battery power.
The T-Mobile G automatically turns off the display when you leave it idle after a
certain period of time. You will still be able to receive messages and calls while
your T-Mobile G display is off. Pressing any of the control buttons again or
incoming calls/messages will turn on your T-Mobile G display.

Refer to the indicator at the left side of the password field to check if
your password is too short (less than 8 characters), weak, fair, good, or
strong.
 If you have set up a screen unlock pattern, you will be prompted to draw
the pattern on the screen before the display unlocks.
