Getting Started

SIM card

The SIM card contains your phone number, service details, and phonebook/
message memory. Your T-Mobile G supports both .8V and 3V SIM cards.
Note
To install the SIM card
1. Make sure the phone is turned off.
2.
Locate the SIM card slot, then
insert the SIM card with its gold
contacts facing down and its cut-
off corner facing out the card slot.
3. Slide the SIM card completely into
the slot.
To remove the SIM card
1.
Remove the back cover and the
battery if these are installed.
2. Locate the groove below the SIM
card slot, then push the SIM card
out with your finger.

Some legacy SIM cards may not function with your T-Mobile G. You
should consult with T-Mobile for a replacement SIM card. There may be
fees for this service.
