Getting Started

.3 Charging the Battery

New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start using your T-Mobile
G, it is recommended that you install and charge the battery. Some batteries
perform best after several full charge/discharge cycles.
To charge the battery
1.
Flip open the PC connector cover at the bottom panel of your phone.
2.
Insert the USB connector of the AC adapter to the PC connector.
3. Plug in the AC adapter to an electrical outlet to start charging the battery.

Charging is indicated by a solid amber light in the Notification LED. As the
battery is being charged while the phone is on, the charging battery icon (
displayed in the Status bar of the Home screen. After the battery has been fully
charged, the Notification LED shows a solid green light and a full battery icon
