6. Text and Picture Messages

Messaging lets you send text (SMS) and picture messages (MMS) to other mobile
phones.
You can compose text messages of up to 60 characters. If you continue to type
after the limit is reached, your message will be delivered as one, but count as
more than one message. These are called concatenated messages.
Picture messages, also known as multimedia messages, can contain text and a
picture, a recorded voice, an audio file, or a picture slideshow.
Note The phone automatically converts a text message into a picture message
when you add a second recipient, a subject, or an attachment.
Open Messaging
To open the Messaging application, press HOME, tap the Applications tab, then
tap Messaging. The message list appears.
