Entering Text
3. Tap an unassigned letter or number. A list of all installed phone applications
appears.
4. Tap the application that you want to assign the shortcut number or letter.
To replace a shortcut key
1.
Press HOME, then press MENU.
2.
Tap Settings, scroll down the screen, then tap Applications > Quick launch.
3. Tap the application shortcut you want to replace, then select the new
application that you want the shortcut key assigned.

3.3 Adjusting the Text Settings

You can change some text settings for faster and more accurate text input.
To adjust the text settings
1.
Press HOME, then press MENU
2.
Tap Settings, scroll down the screen, then tap Text.

Enable or disable the following options according you your preference:

Auto-replace. Turn this feature on to automatically correct commonly-
mistyped words. Note that the Auto-replace function is not a spell-checker.
Auto-cap. When enabled, the first letter in a text field or the first letter after
a period (.), question mark (?), or exclamation point (!) is automatically
capitalized.
Auto-punctuate. When enabled, a period (.) is automatically inserted when
you enter two spaces in succession.
All text settings are enabled by default.
