4. Enter the default SIM card PIN using the keyboard, then tap OK.
5. To change the SIM card PIN at any time, tap Change PIN code.
Emergency calls can be placed at any time, without requiring a PIN.
Tip

Protect your phone with a screen lock

You can help keep your data more secure by locking the screen and/or requiring
a screen unlock pattern every time your T-Mobile G is turned on or waken up
from Sleep mode.
To lock the screen
Press the END CALL/POWER button. Locking the control buttons and the screen
prevents accidental button presses and screen touches.
Note
To unlock the screen, press MENU.
To create and enable the screen unlock pattern
You can increase the security of your phone by setting a screen unlock pattern.
When created and enabled, you have to draw the correct unlock pattern on the
screen to unlock the phone's control buttons and touch screen.
1. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings.
2. Tap Security & location > Set unlock pattern.
