Getting Connected
5. When prompted, enter the hands-free
headset or car kit's passcode, then tap OK.
Refer to the documentation that comes
with the device if you don't know the
passcode.
6. The pairing and connection status will appear below the hands-free headset
or car kit name in the Bluetooth devices list.
Once the other Bluetooth hands-free headset or car kit is connected to your
phone, the Bluetooth connected icon (
can now start using the hands-free headset or car kit to make and/or receive
phone calls.
Note
To disconnect a Bluetooth hands-free headset or car kit
1. Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings.
2. Tap Wireless controls > Bluetooth settings.
3. Scroll to the Bluetooth devices section, then tap and hold the connected
hands-free headset or car kit.
4. Tap Disconnect.

If you pair with a second headset while connected to the first, the first
headset will remain connected. To switch connection to the second
headset you must manually select that headset again in the Bluetooth
devices list after pairing.
If you tap Unpair, the phone will erase all pairing information with the
device. You will be prompted to enter the passcode again when you
connect to this device.
