7.4 Bluetooth

Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications technology. Devices with
Bluetooth capabilities can exchange information over a distance of about eight
metres without requiring a physical connection. You can connect your phone to a
Bluetooth hands-free headset or a Bluetooth car kit to use those devices to send
and/or receive calls.
Bluetooth on your T-Mobile G operates in three different modes:
On. Bluetooth is turned on. Your T-Mobile G can detect other Bluetooth-
enabled devices, but not vice versa.
Discoverable (Visible). Bluetooth is turned on, and all other Bluetooth-enabled
devices can detect your T-Mobile G.
Off. Bluetooth is turned off. In this mode, you can neither send nor receive
information using Bluetooth.

To turn on Bluetooth and make the phone discoverable (visible)

Press HOME > MENU, then tap Settings.

Tap Wireless controls, then select the Bluetooth check box to turn on

Bluetooth visibility is off by default. Tap Bluetooth settings, then select the
Discoverable check box to make the phone visible to other Bluetooth devices
on. Your phone will be visible for up to two minutes.

 By default, Bluetooth is turned off. If you turn it on, then turn off your
T-Mobile G, Bluetooth also turns off. When you turn on your T-Mobile
G again, Bluetooth automatically turns on.
Turn off Bluetooth when not in use to conserve battery power, or in
places where using a wireless phone is prohibited, such as on board an
aircraft and in hospitals.
