To edit the contact information
You can always make changes to the information you have stored for a contact.
1.
In your contacts list, tap and hold the contact whose information you want to
edit. The options menu opens.
2.
Tap Edit contact. The Edit contact screen appears.
3.
Edit the contact information, then select Save. To ignore all changes you made
to the contact information, select Discard changes.
Note
Once you've edited a contact's details, the contact will automatically
become part of the My Contacts group. For more information about My
Contacts, see "To select a group to display" in this chapter.
To customise contact information
While creating or editing a new contact, you can add a caller ID icon, assign a
custom ring tone, or store additional information for the contact such as a postal
address, an instant messaging ID, or additional phone numbers.
Note
Copy your contact's picture into the memory card before you add a caller
ID icon. For information on how to copy pictures to your memory card, see
"Using Pictures" in Chapter 9.
1. In the New contact or Edit contact screen, tap the Add icon button. The
Pictures application opens and displays your albums.
2. Navigate to the contact's picture using the TRACKBALL, then tap the picture.
3. The cropper appears. Do any of the following:
To adjust the cropper size, touch and hold the cropper edge. When the
cropper arrows appear, drag your finger inward or outward the centre of the
cropper to resize it.
