Create and send a text message

1. In the message list, tap New message. The Compose screen opens.
2. Open the keyboard, then enter the mobile phone number of the message
recipient in the To field. As you enter the phone number, matching contacts
will appear on the screen. Tap a recipient or continue entering your recipient's
number.

list is long, you
can scroll up the
screen to view more
messages, or roll
the TRACKBALL
down.
If you entered more than one recipient, the message is automatically
converted into a picture message. See the next section for details.
