4. Tap Save. The picture is associated with your contact.

5. Tap the Ringtone field, then select a ring tone from the list.
6. The ring tone briefly plays. If you want to assign the ring tone to the contact,
tap OK.
7. Tap More info to open the Select
label window and add another
phone number, email address,
instant messaging ID, postal
address and more.

8. When finished, scroll down the
screen and tap Save, or press
MENU, then tap Save.

To move the cropper to another area in the picture, tap and hold inside the
cropper, then drag it with your finger to the desired position.
This picture will appear on the screen when you receive a call from the
contact. If you don't add a caller ID icon, the default placeholder icon
( ) will be used.
You can edit the new label
in the New contact screen.
 If a person who is not in your list of contacts calls you and you want to
save that person's phone number, tap and hold the phone number in
the Call log tab and then tap Save to Contacts on the menu.
 To save a phone number that is contained in a message, open the
message, then tap the underlined phone numbers. Select the phone
number you want to save, press MENU, then tap Add to contacts.
