Copy music to the memory card
Music only plays audio files saved on a memory card. You must copy the audio
files to a memory card before you open Music.
1. Set the phone's memory card as a USB drive. See "Using the Phone as a USB
Drive" in Chapter for details.
2. Connect your phone to your computer using the USB sync cable.
3. On your computer, navigate to the USB drive and open it.
4. Create a top-level folder on the memory card. Name the folder "Music" or
some other descriptive name, then open it.
5. Copy audio files into this folder. See the list of supported music formats earlier
in this chapter.
Tip
6. When finished, close the USB drive window and unmount or eject the drive as
required by your computer's operating system.
7. Disconnect the USB sync cable from your phone and computer.
