    Before you turn on and start using HTC U11, it is recommended that you charge the battery. § If the battery has been discharged for several days, you may need to charge HTC U11 for several minutes before powering it on.

If the phone accidentally gets immersed in water, avoid pressing the controls—such as the POWER and VOLUME buttons—and do not operate the phone.

Sleep mode Sleep mode saves battery power by putting HTC U11 into a low power state while the display is off. It also stops accidental button presses when HTC U11 is in your bag. When you squeeze again, the camera takes a photo, video, or selfie, depending on the capture mode.
