Procedure
– Remove headlight ⇒ page 215
– Remove remains of old headlight retaining tab -1-.
– Form-fit new retaining tab -1- on base of retaining tab at head‐
light and tighten bolt -2- to 1.0 Nm.
– Install headlight ⇒ page 215
– Check headlight settings and adjust headlights if necessary

Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Torque screwdriver -V.A.G 1624-
Caution
♦ Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers.
♦ Remove the ignition key.
