To Program Lines to be Answered by the System Voice Mailbox
1.
From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3.
Select "System Programming".
4.
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
5.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "System Voice Box" is displayed.
6.
Select "System Voice Box".
7.
Select the lines to be answered by the System Voice mailbox. The lines that will be answered are indicated
by a "♦".
Press the speakerphone key to finish programming.
NOTE: If the switch is equipped with a T1/PRI module and it is programmed as T1 (RBS) the T1 channels are
shown as Line 1 – Line 24. Any equipped CO Lines are shown as Line 25- Line 28
NOTE: If the switch is equipped with a T1/PRI module programmed as PRI (ISDN) the full PRI access is
presented as "PRI" on the Line menu. Individual B channels cannot be programmed. Any additional CO
PRI Programming
There are some settings which are specific to PRI (ISDN) lines
Stripping national code 1 or International code 011 on PRI (ISDN) calls
On some PRI (ISDN) lines it is necessary to program the switch so that the 011 code for International calls is not
sent to line. It is also sometimes required that the national code 1 is not sent to line when national numbers are
dialed. The user dials the numbers as normal, dialing the 1 or 011, but the switch is programmed to remove the
digits and not send them to line.

From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3.
Select "System Programming".
4.
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
5.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "PRI Programming" is displayed.
6.
Select "Strip national 1" or "Strip Int'l 011" as required.
Accept on Busy
This option allows calls on ISDN PRI presented to a busy extension to be accepted or rejected. The default is that
"Accept On Busy' is set and calls are accepted with call waiting indication given to busy extensions. When
"Reject on Busy" is set calls to busy extensions are rejected by the switch.

Select "System Programming".
4.
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
5.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "PRI Programming" is displayed.
6.
Select "Accept on Busy".
7.
Select the option required.
Call Routing Priority
This option decides on the order in which calls are routed using the ANI, DNIS and Caller ID services on T1 and
the Called and Calling number services on PRI. The default is that calls are routed on the Calling number if
available. If the calling number is not available then they are routed on the called number if available.

From the programming extension, press the PROGRAM key.
2.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "System Programming" is displayed.
3.
Select "System Programming".
4.
Enter the System Programming Password and select "Lines".
5.
Press the Scroll Down key (î) until "Call Routing Priority" is displayed.
6.
Select "Call Routing Priority".
7.
Select the Option for Calling or Called number routing.
