4.10 Redundant Twin Configuration
Menu
[1] Configured
[2] UnConfigured
Go Configured: Select [1] to make the device go into the configured state. In manual mode
the default state for a new device is unconfigured. This menu allows you to make the node
go configured and become operational.
Go Unconfigured: Select [2] to make the device go into the unconfigured state. This
allows you to temporarily (while unconfigured) disable the device or stop forwarding
without changing the forwarding tables.
4.10 Redundant Twin Configuration Menu
Redundant twin mode is an optional capability and is not available on every GadgetGate-
way Router. select [R] from the GadgetGateway Main Menu and press ENTER. If the fol-
lowing prompt is displayed then this node does not support redundant twin mode. Contact
Adept Systems about activating redundant twin mode capability.

A brief overview of Redundant Twin Mode and a diagram are given in Section 3.9.
To access the Redundant Twin Configuration Menu for nodes that support it, select [R]
from the GadgetGateway Main Menu and press ENTER. The following menu will be dis-
played.
