4.3 GadgetGateway Main Menu
At the end it will notify you that all the changes have been saved to NV memory. If for
some reason you abort or exit out of the update prompts before the saving changes notice
appears then your changes will not be saved to NV Ram and will revert to the previous
values on the next reboot.
Saving the changes in NV memory...Done.
The Startup Menu prompt will be re-displayed. If all the desired changes have been made
then ignore the prompt. If more changes remain to me made then hit a key to reenter the
Startup Menu.
Note: It is highly recommended that DHCP not be used because the tables on each 852
device would have to be re-entered every time it is rebooted and gets a different IP address
from the DHCP server. A static IP address is recommended. If Dynamic DNS is used then
the GadgetGateway Router must still have a static IP address but the internet router used
to connect to the ISP could use DHCP.
4.3 GadgetGateway Main Menu
The GadgetGateway Main Menu will appear after the Startup Menu prompt has timed out.
The GadgetGateway Main Menu displays general information about the GadgetGateway
and gives access to the other submenus of the Serial Interface. If at any time the user needs
to return to the Main Menu, this can be done by selecting [P] from any of the submenus,
which returns the user to the previous menu and thereby eventually to the Main Menu.
Begin the NAHTTP Server application.
