Press any key in 5 seconds to change these settings.
To modify the Gateway's IP settings, press any key within five seconds. The following
option will appear:
Press A to Accept the settings, or M to Modify [M]?
Select [M] and press ENTER.
The next prompt will ask your for the root password.
Enter the root password:
The default root password is Gadget. The password is case sensitive. Type in the pass-
word and press ENTER. You will be able to change the password later.
Follow the instructions given for changing the IP settings of the Gateway, including the IP
address, the subnet mask, and the Gateway address (See Section 4.4, "709.1/IP Gateway
Setup Menu" ). Leave all other settings unchanged by pressing Enter after each question.
If corrections need to be made to the changes, the process outlined above must be
repeated.
For each of the following questions, you can press <Return> to select the value show
n in braces, or you can enter a new value.
NETWORK INTERFACE PARAMETERS:
Should this target use DHCP to get its IP settings?[N]
If enter N it prompts for the Static IP address settings. Either enter the IP address
requested in the format shown (XX.XX.XX) or hit return to skip each prompt.
IP address[10.0.2.61]?
Subnet mask[255.255.255.0]?
Gateway address[10.0.2.254]?
It will then prompt for security parameters.
SECURITY PARAMETERS:
Would you like to update the root password?[N]
Would you like to update the administrator account 'admin' password?[N]
It will then prompt for security parameters.
HARDWARE PARAMETERS:
How long (in seconds) should CPU delay before starting up[5]?
