5.6 Channel List Page

5.6.3 Device Detail Page

The Device Detail Page provides the user with additional information about a device. This
page can be accessed for each device through the Channel List Page by clicking the Info
link for a particular device. A brief description of each item listed on the page follows.
Device Name: The name of the device.
IP Address: The current IP address of the device.
IP Port: The current IP Port number on which the device is communicating.
Date Time: The date and time when the device was added to the Device List.
Multicast Address: The address that the device uses if it is set to multicast addressing.
Channel Name: The name of the channel to which the device belongs.
IP Support: The protocols supported by this device. These include UDP, TCP, and Multi-
cast.
709.1 Router Type: The type of router of the device. The possible types are Configured,
Repeater, or Flood.
Node Type: The mode in which the router is operating. The two possible values are Con-
ventional Router and Paired Virtual Router. The node type must be Conventional Router in
order to work correctly with the LonMaker™. This requires the IP side to have a Node ID.
In Paired Virtual Router mode, the IP side does not need a Node ID.
Subnet/Node: The ANSI/EIA 709.1 subnet number and node number of the device. This
information is not always available.
Domain: The domain number of the ANSI/EIA 709.1 device. This information is not
always available.
