4.4 709.1/IP Gateway Setup Menu
Save the flash configuration and then reboot the GG router. 852 bridge mode only works
properly when the router is in Normal mode.
4.3.3 Reboot GadgetGateway
Select [Q] from the Main Menu and press ENTER. The main processor on the Gadget-
Gateway will reboot. This makes it easier to reboot when changing configurations such as
852 to 852 bridging mode or when changing the web server port. A few seconds after the
reboot selection is executed the GG boot up screens will be displayed.
4.3.4 Save Configuration to Flash
In version 2.3 and later, the configuration parameters of the GadgetGateway are saved in
flash. To speed up configuration and commissioning the parameters are stored in RAM
during configuration. To ensure that any manual configuration is preserved use this option
to force an immediate save. Periodically the Gateway with save a permanent copy in flash
of configuration data automatically given it by a configuration server or network manage-
ment tool but not for manually entered configuration data. To force an immediate save
Select [S] from the Main Menu and press ENTER.
4.4 709.1/IP Gateway Setup Menu
To access the 709.1/IP Gateway Main Setup Menu, select [L] from the GadgetGateway
Main Menu and press ENTER. The GadgetGateway Setup Menu will appear as follows in
normal mode with 852 bridge mode disabled.
