The management of these parameters is usually performed by a management tool such as
TM
Echelon's LonMaker
parameters not be changed manually. However, the Interface Menu does allow users to
change the interface parameters manually, if desired.
Note: Changing parameters in the Interface Menu does not satisfy all of the requirements
of configuring the ANSI/EIA 709.1 interface. The feature of configuring the 709.1 inter-
face without the use of a management tool is under consideration for future releases.

4.9.36 Change Subnet Number

Select [0] or [5] from the menu and press ENTER.
Enter New Subnet Number >>>
Enter the new subnet number and press ENTER. The new value will appear in the menu.
Hit Enter without typing a number to return without changing the subnet number.

Select [1] or [6] from the menu and press ENTER.
Enter New Node Number >>>
Enter the new node number and press ENTER. The new value will appear in the menu. Hit
Enter without typing a number to return without changing the subnet number.
