GadgetGateway Firmware Upgrade
6.5 Current Firmware Features and
Updates
Power cycle the device
Wait for the prompt to press any key to change parameters.
Press any key with in the 5 seconds.
The next prompt will ask for A or M. Don't type either.
Instead type in (case sensitive) the word BIG_MAC and press return.
It will prompt for the MAC address.
Enter the MAC address (from the label) in the following format (XX replaced with Hex
digits from the ID)
XX.XX.XX.XX.XX.XX so it looks something like 00.07.FC.00.00.AA
Press return.
Press return a second time and it will prompt to Accept or Modify
Type M for modify and press return
Then press return at each of the succeeding prompts to accept the defaults.
The last prompt will say.
Saving the changes in NV memory...Done.
The default boot prompt should then come up and you should be able to go through the
menus and confirm the MAC Address.

6.5 Current Firmware Features and Updates

The latest firmware version at the time of the writing of this manual was 2.3. Please check
the Adept Web site for any upgrades under Support->Updates. (http://www.adeptsystem-
sinc.com/support/helpdesk/downloads/)

6.5.3 Changes in Latest Version

GadgetGateway** Version 2.30
This document contains a description of the updates from firmware version 1.07 to the
2.30 version. Please review the entire document before upgrading in order to become
familiar with the issues associated with the upgrade.
Before you can upgrade a 2.00 - 2.25 GadgetGateway to this firmware version, you must
use the migration tool Ver 2 to upgrade to the new bootloader. Once the new bootloader is
