Basic Copying Procedure
Press the following keys on the
Control Panel to program the
respective functions or modes:
[ACS] key
(Automatic Color Selection
function: black-and-white/color)
[Full Color] key
(Full Color mode)
[Black] key
(Black Monochrome mode)
[Original Recognition] key
(Original Recognition function)
[Center Shift] key
(centering the image position)
If no operation is performed for
approximately two minutes after
a copy job is completed or after a
key has been pressed, the
screen automatically returns to
the standard display. This
function is called the Auto Clear
function. The Auto Clear Time
set by the Auto Clear function
can be changed in the Custom
Settings mode of the Additional
Functions mode. For details, see
"Auto Clear Time," on p. 13-48.
If no operation is performed for
approximately one hour after a copy
job is completed or after a key has
been pressed, the main power
automatically turns OFF. This
function is called the Auto Power-
OFF function. To turn the power
back ON, set the power switch to
ON. For details, see "Auto Power-
Off Time", on p. 13-52.
