Place the text original on the
platen glass.

Press the [Scan] key.
Scanning starts, and the message "Scanning ..." is
displayed.
Upon completion of scanning, the message "Scan
completed" is displayed, and the screen to make a copy of
the background original is displayed.

Place the color original for the
background on the platen glass

Press the [OK] key.
The display returns to the Sp. Feature screen, and the
[Composition] key is highlighted.
The copier is now ready to copies.

Inserting Text
You can make variations of
Character Composition copies by
changing the color originals for
the background.
The image scanned from the text
original is erased when the copier
power is turned Off. After the
power is turned On, scan the
image again if necessary.
