Area Designation Type and Method
Polygon
Sequentially enter the corners of the polygon being
designated with the edit pen. Press the [Set] key to
connect the corners sequentially.

Press the [Polygon] key, and then
the [Done] key.

Press the first point with the
edit pen.

After pressing the final point,
press the [Set] key.

Mode
Designating Areas with the Edit Pen
Enter three or more points to
designate a polygonal area. If
less than three points have been
entered, the [Set] key is not
displayed, disabling the area
designation.
If an area is designated with a
polygon or a free-hand drawing
in which the lines intersect, the
outermost line is recognized as
the boundary of the area.
When the third point is entered,
the [Set] key is displayed.
