The Microsoft Outlook Forms provide a broader faxing interface
within Outlook. Forms include a fax composition form, a preview
form, and several notification forms. The Microsoft Outlook user
selects whichever form is required.
The SMTP gateway is used to integrate with all mail systems
(SMTP/POP3, Exchange, Domino). Microsoft Outlook Express is one
example. With the SMTP gateway installed, Outlook Express users can
send and receive faxes through that e-mail program. Microsoft
Outlook Express is the SMTP client referenced in this guide. However,
users of e-mail programs such as Eudora, Netscape Communicator,
etc. can also send and receive faxes after installation of the SMTP
gateway.
Note: The SMTP gateway cannot be combined with OmniTouch Fax
Server. Also, Exchange 2000 SP3 and over are required.
OmniTouch Fax Server provides a means to submit fax jobs using the
Lotus Notes mail client. Lotus Notes Forms include two files:
Fax_Memo_Install.nsf - (.nsf stands for Notes Storage

Facility). These files represent typical Lotus Notes databases.
The installation database (Fax_Memo_Install.nsf) contains all
the design elements necessary to install the fax forms.
FAXconfiguration.nsf - The configuration database is

used to define the various languages.
The Web Administrator is a means of remote administration. It would
be installed to provide both system and site administrators with the
means to administer OmniTouch Fax Server from a client computer.
Administrators and users use the cover sheet editor to compose fax
cover sheets to be used when faxing with SendFAX. A selection of
preformatted cover sheets is provided. Variables that are resolved
when the fax is sent can be added to any cover sheet to include such
information as sender name, site name and address, telephone and
fax numbers, etc... By default, cover sheets reside on the server.
Administrators can decide to copy them to local computers if they
are to be directly available to users.
OmniTouch Fax Server users can use the web access utility to send
faxes and display the status of their incoming, outgoing and queued
