Deletion Policy

OmniTouch Fax Server System Administrator Guide - 8AL_90215_USAA ed.01
Inbound Attachment Name - name of attached TIF/PDF file sent as
a representation of the fax. The default value is: @@TransactionId.
The field can contain any of the variables used in OmniTouch Fax
Server notification template inbound variable list p. 324. Also, the
entire field @@ TransactionId could be replaced with text, a
notification template variable, or both. For example: 1) fax The
resulting filename will be fax.tif 2) @@Transaction Id The resulting
filename will be the transaction ID generated for that fax such as
{2345226}.tif
Locale - select the appropriate language from the drop box
4 Click OK.
1 In the Web Administrator, select the Configuration|Notification
Profiles.
2 In the right panel of the Web Administrator, select the checkbox of
the notification profile that you want to delete, and then select
Remove.
3 In the appearing dialog, click Yes to confirm the deletion, or click
No, if you change your mind. The notification profile will disappear
from the list.
4 Click OK.
Note: An administrator will be prevented from deleting a notification
profile, if it is already associated with a user profile or a mail
notification destination. It must first be removed from these
configurations, before it can be discarded here.
The deletion policy is used to remove faxes from the archive
database. There are two types of fax records that can be removed,
either separately or together. The first is the fax entries, which is all
the data concerning an incoming or outgoing fax, excluding its
content. The second is the fax content itself (message and appended
files). It is possible to backup files from the archive, before deletion.
1 In Web Administrator, select Configuration_Deletion Policy.
The Deletion Policy tab appears.
