Enabling a gatekeeper
A gatekeeper added here can be used when establishing a dial plan.
Refer to Configuring a peer list and a dial plan on page 63.
1 In the Web Administrator, select Configuration|Driver.
The Driver Properties dialog appears.
2 Select the T.38 tab.
3 Select the Enable Gatekeeper option.

4 Enter the host name of the primary gatekeeper in the Primary Host
Gatekeeper field.
5 The port used by the primary gatekeeper is 1718.
Enter a different port only if the gatekeeper uses a different port.
6 Enter the host name of a secondary gatekeeper in the Secondary
Host Gatekeeper field.
7 The port used by the secondary gatekeeper is 1718.
Enter a different port only if this gatekeeper uses a different port.
8 Click OK.
By default, OmniTouch Fax Server assumes that all faxes are to be
sent through a single gateway. The list of H.323 gateways, called the
peer list, therefore displays the single gateway established when
OmniTouch Fax Server was installed. The corresponding dial plan
indicates that all numbers will use the only gateway available.
