Outgoing Restriction
Switch equipped with a PRI Access
If the switch is programmed with a PRI Access only this option is not presented on the Line
programming Menu.
If the switch is equipped with Lines as backup 'Outgoing restriction' is programmed as follows:
•
From the Programming Extension, press the PROGRAM key.
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until 'System Programming' is displayed.
•
Select 'System Programming'.
•
Enter the System Programming Password
•
Select 'Lines'.
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until 'Outgoing Restriction' is displayed.
•
Select 'Outgoing Restriction' option.
•
The menu updates to show only the back up lines equipped (Line 31 - Line 34 or
Access 1- 2)
•
Select the required line
•
The extension menu is displayed.
•
Select the extensions to be restricted from selecting the line for outgoing calls.
•
In default no restriction applies.
Incoming calls only when PRI is programmed
When Incoming calls only is selected when the switch is equipped with a PRI Access the
display updates showing the B-Channels and backup lines and are programmed as follows:
•
From the Programming Extension, press the PROGRAM key.
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until 'System Programming' is displayed.
•
Select 'System Programming'.
•
Enter the System Programming Password
•
Select 'Lines'.
•
Press the Scroll Down key ( ) until 'Incoming Calls Only' is displayed.
•
Select 'Incoming Calls Only' option.
•
The menu updates to show all B channels and the back up lines/Accesses
•
Select the required lines to be reserved for incoming calls only.
•
In default no lines are programmed.
Note: If 30 B-Channels are available and 10 lines are selected then a total of 20 B-Channels
are available to extensions to select for outgoing calls.
If a user selects a Line key of a line that is set as Incoming only, busy tone is returned and the
message 'Restricted' is shown on the display.
