Resetting the Appliance

Use the reset [powerdown] command to gracefully shut down the applications running on the appliance
and to reboot the appliance. You can include the powerdown option to power off the appliance, if
possible, or to have the appliance left in a state where the power can be turned off.

Shut down (stopping the applications) begins immediately after you execute the command. Shutdown
can take a while, and you can still access CLI commands while it is taking place, but the session will be
terminated without warning.
To reset the appliance, follow these steps:
Log in to the CLI using an account with administrator privileges.

possible. If the node can not be powered off it will be left in a state that is safe to
manually power down.
