Make the required copy settings, for example, reduction/enlargement,
background suppression, and image density.
Refer to "Selecting the Reduction/Enlargement Settings" and "Adjusting
Density and Background Suppression" in this chapter for more details on these
functions.

Enter the copy quantity on the keypad.
The number of copies can only be specified when A3 or A4 size paper is being
used.

Insert the document in the scanner face down, with the edge aligned with the
document insertion guide.
The document will begin to scan automatically if scanning is set to [Auto].
If "start document scanning" is set to manual, press the <Start> key at this
time. Refer to "How to Start Scanning" in "5.2 Setting up the System Presets"
for more details on the custom presets.
Refer to "1.9 Using Originals" in this manual for more details on loading
documents.
Otherwise, press the <Start> key.
The scanned data will enter the print queue. The copy will print when its
output number is reached.

Return the manual feed table to its original position.
