Adjusting Density and Background Suppression
Image density may be set at any one of nine levels using the buttons on the control
panel. The < > key decreases the density; the < > key increases the density.
Background suppression may be used to eliminate the background which may be
present on originals such as blueprints, documents printed on colored paper, or
documents that have discolored or darkened with age. The < > key increases the
amount of background suppression, and the < > key decreases it.
