To validate the stepper motor speed of the 5265MG in the range 0.20° - 2.0°/min, use the following procedure:
1. Using the ON/OFF switch on the electronics assembly, turn OFF the electronics for 10 seconds, followed
by turning the electronics ON.
2. Start the 5270 DACS software that is configured for operating the 5265MG instrument. If 5270 is not
configured for 5265MG, configure per the instructions in the 5265MG-1050 manual.
3. Ensure that the Motor Encoder channel (1:8u) is enabled and the Address is set to 1:8u. When this
feature is not in use, this signal may be disabled by unchecking the box.
