Section 1 – Installation

Unpacking the Instrument

Remove the instrument from the packing crate carefully. The unit comes fully equipped with
all the necessary components and any spare parts that were ordered with the unit. Ensure that
no parts or tools are lost when discarding the packing materials.
After the instrument is removed from the shipping crate, the equipment and spare parts
should be checked against the packing list to ensure that all parts have been received and
none are damaged.
NOTE: File an insurance claim with your freight carrier if damage has occurred
during shipping. Verify all parts shown on the enclosed packing list have
been received. If items are missing, immediately notify Chandler
Engineering.

Utilities Required

• Main Power:
o 5265MGSA: 208-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 10A maximum
o Quizix Pump: 208-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 5A maximum
• Utilities:
o Air: 90-120 psi (Quizix and 5265MG cooling)
o Water: 20-60 psi (Quizix)
o Coolant: 20-60 psi
o Drain: Suitable for hot water

Equipment Required

• Set of Imperial open-end wrenches
• Set of Imperial hex wrenches (supplied with instrument)
• Mounted bench vise

Software Installation Instructions

The Model 5265MGSA is operated remotely via a serial interface using the 5270 software.
Generally, an upgrade to the 5270 software is required if the 5265MGSA is added to an
existing installation to provide new features associated with the 5265MGSA. Version 2.10.3
(or later) of the 5270 software supports the Model 5265MGSA instrument.
The Quizix Q5120 pump is operated using the Pumpworks software package. Refer to the
Quizix Pumpworks documentation for additional details.
